I am a strong believer of what I call the "trifecta" of blending different solid color items within the idea of a outfit. Trifecta literally means triple or three, and in this look shown, you see the black, bright green, and ivory in the look. I know, you may be scratching your head, and wondering "how do these colors work?" In a math course, you have heard about the hypotenuse. For those who don't know, it's the opposite side of the right angle. The two sides that create the right angle, squared and squared rooted usually equal to the hypotenuse. Same idea with the trifecta. You have to have two base colors to counter balance a color choosen. Black, white, tan, grey, and brown are all considered base colors. And these colors combined with any other color would create what I called a "balanced look". There are some exceptions, of course because fashion is open to any and everything. But these are my tips in creating great outfits like me! Stay styled my loves.
